Cow Days is a staple of Greensburg, Kentucky. The food, live music, and booths keep people entertained for hours. No wonder people from all over come to enjoy this small town festival. Friday, September 15th, began the 50th annual cow days festival. We managed to secure an interview with some of the workers at the rotary booth.
Rylee: "What do you guys think about this years cow days events?"
Booth Worker 1: "Personally I think it's going to go well. It's been going well so far. You've been excited to just be helping out, so, hopefully its going to be good."
Rylee: "How do you feel that this is the 50th anniversary of cow days?"
Booth Worker 1: "I feel old, haha, i remember being here when I was like six maybe so i'm feeling a little bit of the age."
Booth Worker 2: "Its pretty cool, I've been coming here a few years now"
Come Saturday, most everyone from the county came atleast once. While gathering our steps, Me, Rylee, And Jewel walked around the square interviewing different booths. The first booth we stopped at was What the Pup.

My daughter, Brianna Hazelwood, who graduated from Green County High School in 2021, Shes the groomer, She does an awesome job. We're set up here at Cow Days just so we can get the word out that we reopened, and try to drum up some new business for Miss Bri."

Megan: "It's great! I love seeing everybody out in the community. All kinds of people come to love on our dogs that we brought. Lots of people brought their dogs to get their picture made. Wendy Pickett: "This is the Team 62 football booth. We are selling programs, t-shirts, garden flags, and cow bells."

Wendy Pickett: "I haven't been out here for too long but it's always fun to come out here and see everybody and See all the people coming in and the people they usually don't get see until the festival"
Broden: "How many years have you been coming to cow days yourself?"
Wendy Pickett: "Well I'll be telling my age then but I become in a long time. I've probably been coming to Cow Days for around 40 years"
Afterwards, We interviewed the Green River Beekeepers.
Broden: "I'm here with Michael with the Green River Beekeepers. Can you tell us a little bit about your booth?"
Micheal: "The Green River beekeepers wearing Green County and surrounding counties. Our purpose is to talk about the bees and educate people on how important the bees are and the way they work, and they way they live. And bring out to the public things that people know about the bees. Bees are, everybody knows and im sure everyone has heard the importance of pollinators, and every body knows they are important.
Broden: "Can you tell me how your cow days experience has been?"
Micheal: "We've been doing it for the past few years, seems like theres more going on in the afternoon on Saturday then usual. usually it seems more shut down after the parade. We have had a good group."
Broden: "How many years have you been coming yourself?"
Micheal: "Probably around 4 years. I moved to Green County about 5 years ago."
Continuing our walk down main street, we took a break to watch the parade. Before we left, Rylee and Jewel convinced What The Pup to let Rylee walk around with this cute little pup, gypsy.
